Meridian Organises North East Exporters Awards 2009

Meridian is well on the way to completing the final run-up of the organising of this year’s North East Exporters Awards, which are due to be held on Thursday 16th July at the Hilton Hotel, Gateshead. The evening is the only regional award programme which recognises those individuals who have achieved the most for their companies in pursuit of export business.
We have provided a full event management service to UK Trade & Investment since the early part of the year and we are currently finalising plans in order to make the evening a memorable success. Over 250 individuals from the North East business world will join us on the evening, which will see 5 awards categories presented to the individuals who have played a significant part in their company’s export success.
We have worked closely with the main sponsors in order to tailor the event to the requirements of the parties involved and in doing so have prepared what aims to be a fantastic evening.
The event management service provided by Meridian has included; promotional design, advertising, application handling, ticket selling, stage and production design and speaker selection as well as a whole host of valuable assets. We have a dedicated team that has been working alongside UK Trade & Investment for the last few months and in doing so are on course to entertain guests on the 16th July.
Serial entrepreneur BJ Cunningham will entertain guests as the after dinner speaker whilst UKTI’s Managing Director, Sectors Group, Dominic Jermey will address the audience as the Keynote speaker for the evening.
Charity connection for 2009
This year we will be supporting a very important cause as we have included the charity Grace House North East and all funds raised on the evening will be donated to the children’s hospice appeal.
