We regard environmental legislation, regulations and codes of practice as setting the minimum standards of our environmental performance. To perform this duty we have documented our environmental management system in compliance with ISO 14000.
At Meridian we are keen to reduce our carbon footprint and have an increasing usage of video-conferencing with our partner operations worldwide to enable minimum travel between ourselves for conducting on-going relationship managing of clients work.
We aim to minimise our impact on the environment in our daily work through actions such as:Minimising the waste produced and looking for innovative ways to re-use and recycle materials and products whenever possible.

- Batteries
- Computer monitors
- Ink cartridges and toners
- Old mobile phones
- Left over items from mailings handled on behalf of our clients
We ensure that all employees are in a position to improve environmental performance and by providing appropriate information and consultation we insist on them:
- Using electronic rather than paper based communication
- Using recycled paper
- Using both sides of paper when printing documents
- Printing drafts to scrap paper
- Switching machines/lights etc. off when the office is closed and purchasing energy efficient equipment
- Using refillable products
- Using paper free billing methods
